Learn with Dr. Angel

Dr. Angelique Barbara, MS, DC

Dr. Angelique Barbara’s work is rooted in a rare blend of veterinary science, chiropractic expertise, lifelong horsemanship, and deep devotion to animal healing.

Beginning her journey in the veterinary field, Dr. Angel earned her Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science with a minor in Equine Science followed by a Master of Science in Veterinary Pathobiology, building a strong clinical understanding of animal anatomy, physiology, pathology, and whole-body wellness. Her lifelong connection to horses and passion for understanding movement, comfort, and performance naturally led her to continue her education as a Doctor of Chiropractic, where she deepened her expertise in biomechanics, neurology, fascia, and structural alignment.

As a lifelong equestrian and animal advocate, Dr. Angel began thoughtfully adapting the most effective principles she learned in human chiropractic school for the unique needs of animals. This innovative work led to the creation of her first professional seminar in 2009, where she trained chiropractors and veterinarians in Animal Neuro-Myofascial Release Technique (ANMR) and Kinesiology Taping—modalities that continue to shape integrative animal care practices today.

As demand for advanced holistic animal education continued to grow, Dr. Angel expanded the curriculum into a full professional learning platform and brought the courses online in 2015, making high-level animal wellness education accessible to students around the world. What began as a specialized seminar has now evolved into a global continuing education ecosystem, supporting practitioners through foundational certifications, advanced specialty pathways, mentorship, business growth, and lifelong learning opportunities.

In 2022, this mission expanded even further with the founding of Angel’s Animal Sanctuary, a living extension of the educational philosophy behind every course. The sanctuary serves as both a place of healing and a reminder that every technique taught within the school is grounded in real-world animal care, compassion, rehabilitation, and advocacy.

Today, students who learn with Dr. Angel are not simply taking a certification—they are joining a global community of practitioners committed to raising the gold standard in holistic animal wellness, with continuing education pathways and lifetime support designed to grow alongside their practice.
